Free Cell Phone Unlocking

There are a lot of programs that are offering unlocking for free. Why do people pay for this service when they can get it for free? In this article, I will go over 3 benefits why. However, the primary reason is that you cannot find a free service for your model. Only about 10% of phones can be done for free. You also will not find free service on most recently released cell phones in the past few years, no matter how hard you look and looked, I have. Here are some of the benefits of paid vs free unlocking

First benefit is not permanently locking (also called hardlocking) your phone. What this means is that if your mobile has the wrong code entered too many times, you will hardlock your phone so now it cannot be unlocked without flashing or in some cases, like the Blackberry, you may never be able to unlock your phone again. Phones like Nokia only have 3 or 5 tries on it before you hardlock it. I would not suggest a paid service once you have tried a free service without contacting the company since you have put yourself in a position where they cannot often help you.

Next benefit is that damage, often permanent, making your phone worthless than a brick can be avoided. Often this is true with servers that use username and password to unlock your phone. They will flash parts of the phone which can put your phone in a state where you cannot fix it again. Now there are servers
(paid of course) that's been tested that if your phone will be damaged, it will stop the process and your phone's safety is protected. The other is when you enter a code or follow a sequence to enter your code, you can possibly permenantly lock your mobile device, so you are not able to access it. Often hardware
solutions do not exist in order to fix this problem.

Final benefit of a paid service is that you will get correct instructions and support if you need it. If you download some software or instructions off the Internet or try to get it for free, you often get what you pay for. When I offer free services and donate 100% proceeds to charity, the support is still there for customers and the profit goes to a good cause. When you get a free service, you do not have support if you have an issue and often no instructions on how to enter the code or use the software. This can lead to one of the first two issues of a hardlocked phone or a damaged phone. Using a paid service, you will get step by step instructions (often includes a video on how to do it) on how to enter the code into your phone and professional companieshave a 1 800 # that you can call in order to get support or ask questions.

To summarize, you get what you paid for, quite often, when it comes to unlocking your mobile phone. You can use a free service, if you can find one and most phones made in the last 4-5 years do not have one, however expectto get what you have paid for. If you use a paid service, keep the following in mind 1. They have an email, phone # and live chat on there site, if you need support once you get the information (better with a 1 866 or 1 800 # for support) 2. You know your model so you can search there site for it (compare price and time since often there are several options for your model) 3. Accredited company, been in business for sometime, supported by BBB or concrete feedback 4. Are they only unlocking or have there hands into many things like cell phones, accessories, calling cards, etc...If they only do unlocking, they are likely more qualified.
