The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 Review

The very worthy Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 boasts a 6 mega pixel imager with a 2” LCD monitor. Also offering a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 12X optical zoom lens with a focal range of 36 – 432 mm, this is one impressive camera. Although it shares a lot of traits with the DSC-H5 model, the H2 is a bit more affordable.

The H2 offers anti-blur technology as well, which helps to ensure that all shots are easily executed. With Sony’s Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization system, reducing blur is a breeze. The camera also features high-light sensitivity settings that go up to ISO 1000, capturing even fast moving vehicles with ease.

The DSC-H2 digital camera offers a comfortable grip with thumb controls that are easy to access. With its high resolution LCD monitor and Clear Photo LCD plus technology, images are viewed with vivid clarity. The real image processor is a welcome edition as well, giving faster start up times and faster shooting times as well.

The H2 model also offers high quality movies and a longer battery life that delivers up to 400 shots on one single charge. With additional features such as auto exposure, multi-point, auto-focus, and preset scene modes that work silently in the background, this is one camera that more than meets all expectations.
