TomTom GO 920 And 920T Review From A Users Perspective
GPS navigation systems are the "in thing" today. Seems like everyone is reaching out to get their hands on one. Why? It can or should I say it will make your driving life a whole lot easier.
One GPS system in particular that got fans raving is the Tomtom GO 920 . It's one heck of a GPS sytem if I might say so myself. Now what many are finding so remarkable and cool about this one is that it's the first in its class to use voice recognition. No longer do you have to punch a bunch of buttons while driving or frustratingly wonder if your system is leading you in the right direction.
I gave this device a test of my own just to see how much it measured up. The first thing that was tested was its ability to recognize my voice and respond accordingly. So what I did was park alongside a busy street, let down my windows, and then using the voice command feature, I told the 920 where it was I wanted to go.
Did it hear me and follow through? Well let me just say that it did quite well. Successfully working 92% of the time despite background noise of horns and sirens going off. This is just one feature that it has.
Let me also mention to you that it has a mapping system that is out of this world. Not only can you get to any location you want in North America, but if you wanted to you could load up maps of Europe and it would locate any nearby attraction or site. This is all made by it's SD card slot where you can load up maps.
