The first time I turned on my XBox360 and got the blue screen error I Felt totally ripped off and defenseless. Like there was nothing I could do! Buy another over priced Xbox360? NO WAY! So I looked around to see what I could do. First I found a repair guy in my town that actually Fixes Xbox360s.All he wanted was $60 to Diagnose the problem and then even more to fix it! He related to me that most repairs cost about $100.00 to $120.00 even if you send it into Microsoft. Did I sign up for this?So Feeling like I had to declare myself I went home and opened up the old XBOX360. First off trying to understand what you are looking at can be confusing.
Before I touched it I came apon The Xbox360 Repair guide. I read up on it a little bit and resigned myself that it could be another Internet ripoff and gritted my teeth and bought it.
Right away I was into the repair fallowing the step by step pictured repair guide. It was easy, not horribly time consuming, and a little fun! The guide made it very easy. It had all the answers and never did it tell me to wrap a towel around it(don't do this it can cause a fire!) like some other phony repair guides!
I WON! thats what I felt like when I was done fixing the xbox360. I didn't get fleeced for a repair and I didn't half to buy a new one...all and all a pretty good day!
