TOP TIPS FOR GETTING GREAT RESULTS FROM HOME BODY WRAPS
Forget personal trainers or going under the knife, Body Wraps are the must have beauty products for women needing a quick fix before baring all on the beach. A home body wrap is the perfect product to help you shape your figure, detoxify your body and remove cellulite, all from the comfort of your own private bathroom spa!
But beware, wrapping at home is not as easy as it looks!
Jennifer Simms, owner of www.body-wrap-reviews.co.uk and body wrap tester extraordinaire offers 5 simple tips for getting the best from your body wrap.
1. Read the instructions! For many women, the anticipation and excitement of Kate Moss perfect pins
2. Exfoliate in a warm (not hot) bath prior to applying the wrap. This will get rid of dead skin and open pores to allow the product to work its best
3. Keep yourself warm. Body wraps work by drawing out excess fluid and toxins from your body, so they work best when they can sink in through open pores. You'll get cold very quickly wrapped in cold bandages so invest in a body wrap suit like those used by professional salons. It might seem like an added expense but body wraps can be messy and it will enable you to sit/lie down and keep warm without damaging towels, bed sheets as well. For a cheaper alternative wear an old pair of trackie bottoms or wrap yourself in cling film and get in a bed warmed in advance with a hot water bottle.
4. If you're using a body wrap which uses bandages don't be tempted to wrap yourself too tightly, your circulation will slow down, you'll get pins and needles and most probably lose all feeling in your limbs! If you need something to keep the bandages in place try hair clips or cling-film.
5. Avoid showering immediately. Try to leave the clay / gel on your skin for as long as possible after the treatment as the products often remain in your skin and continue working for days after the wrap.
