Yes, I agree, I am frustrated. I am a full figured woman, but that is not where the frustration comes from. Actually, I am very proud of myself, but that's besides the point. What irritates me is shopping for clothes, the department stores in particularly. First of all, it takes awhile before you find a store where you can choose from a considerable variety of plus size clothing. Secondly, when you find one, the stock is so small that it often happens that, when you have found an item you like, they don't have your size anymore.
The plus size section is on regular occasion being put somewhere at the back of the store, squeezed between not related fashion like lingerie or baby clothes. It is like department stores totally ignore the plus size market!
I know a good alternative is to go and shop online. There are many plus size clothing retailers on the internet offering a wide variety of clothes, from lingerie to casual to plus size swimwear. I also know this alternative is more often a better deal as buying your clothes online can save you some extra money.
But what about going to the mall, meet with friends, drink some coffee, do some shopping, things we, women, like to do? I miss the social aspect of shopping when I look for clothes online (although it is still the best option for us, plus size women). I just want to make a point, I don't want to go through the teen section to find the hidden plus size section, in order to conclude that they have a nice looking bra but, unfortunately, they run out of my size again.
