If you are interested in getting any Botox injections, then it is vital that you take the time to find out about the risks and complications that could be part of the process for you. While there are very few risks involved with Botox, you need to be cautious. Just because you know someone who didn’t have any trouble with the procedure doesn’t mean you will have the same experience. In regards to the most common Botox risks, that would include for instance the fact that if Botox is injected too close to your upper eyelids, then there is the risk that temporary upper eyelid droop may result; this is something which can in fact take months to improve, which is obviously a serious downfall. There is a risk of experiencing an allergic reaction, even though this rarely happens. If you happen to be pregnant or nursing then you should not participate in Botox injections until after the baby is no longer depending on you for their nutritional needs. If you are unsure about the possible risks and complications, and/or if you simply want to learn more about them or see if you are any more at risk for any of them, then make sure to consult with your physician because they can help you to find out. Also remember during this consultation with your physician that you should also make sure to ask any other questions that you may have, as well as determine your present health in order to make sure that you are physically able to withstand such a procedure. Once you have familiarized yourself with the risks of Botox, you can then make your own decision about having the procedure done. The difference is that you will have the information to do what you feel is right for you
