This article is based on my opinion and belief, not necessarily on medical research. Are you aware that almost everything that we consume from the grocery store today has HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP in the top of the ingredient list? The yummy, "healthy" sweet corn, peas, and other canned vegetables we thought was doing us some good, actually may be harming us more. Bread, fruit juice, just about anything we eat seems to have us hooked on this super sugary poison. We think that if we eat healthy food for our meal, then we can indulge for dessert. Oh how wrong we are! Most of our entire meal consists of processed sugar in the form of fructose corn syrup. Since the wonderous invention of this "taste enhancer", we have seen the introduction and steep rise in the BS diagnosis of ADHD, or ADD as some call it. We are also seeing a rise in childhood obesity and diabetes. The medical profession wants you to believe that this is entirely the fault of the parents letting their kids sit and play video games and watch cable TV. I contend that, while those may be factors in these statistics, I believe that the addition of intense amounts of sugar into our kids daily diets diminishes the nutritional benefit of our food. We eat thousands of empty calories a day, and get not even close to the amount of vitamins, mineral, enzymes and natural good bacteria we need to be healthy. If you want to know more about how to curb this problem, visit www.three1seven.com. And the next time you visit the grocery store, look at the labels of what you are buying. If High Fructose Corn Syrup is in the top 5 ingredients... look for another brand that it is NOT!
I have been researching and studying health and fitness for going on 15 years now. While admittedly, I am not a ripped, model type that eats raw foods and excercises 100 times a day, I do try to do what I can to minimize the effects of the poisons on the market today. Since the birth of my son 4 years ago, this has become even more important to me.
