The increase in the rapid drug abuse has led the employers to conduct tests on their employees to ensure that the employees are not addicted to any sort of drugs. Moreover, it is seen that these days, people are more addicted to prescription drugs than the illegal drugs. This is really is big factor to be given proper attention. The stress and the pressure of the modern day busy schedule forced the people to be enslaved by the force of addiction to these drugs. Moreover, the fact is that people who are getting addicted to these drugs are not even aware of the fact that they are being victimized by this great evil of the society. This is a far more serious a threat as when the victim is unaware of his addiction it is almost impossible for anyone to make him understand and help him to get rid of this. This goes on to such an extent that the person can’t even notice his addiction to these prescription drugs unless it is too late.

Because of these reason the work place drug testing can be justified. It is fact that the employers would always want their employees to be in their best performance. Therefore, it is essential for them to ensure that any sort of drug addiction may not slow them down or affect their working performance. And for that reason they are in favor of conducting drug tests on their employees to ensure this fact and get them on their best performance. Thus when you go on to seek a job it is expected that your employer may ask you to go through a drug test and it is often included in the eligibility criteria to get the job.

Other than that it is also seen that not only in case of the workplace but also in case of other institutions like schools and colleges the authority is in favor of conducting these tests on their students to get it clear whether their students are affected by the addiction to any sort of drugs or not. Even the parents are also in favor of these drug tests as they also are eager to know whether their kids are getting addicted to any sort of drugs either be it some illegal one or some prescription drugs behind their back. But the fact is that this is really an invasion on the personal affairs of the people on whom these tests are conducted. The fact is that whenever the drug test is conducted on any one it is going to reveal a lot of facts other than just addiction to any particular drugs. These results may include several other facts like the pregnancy, or any other prescription drug usage which one may not want to reveal to others. Therefore, conducting a drug test needs some serious consideration and proper maintenance of secrecy to preserver the privacy of the subject on whom the drug test is conducted.

The only way to Pass a drug test is to know about the drug you are addicted with. Only then you can Pass a urine test or Pass a saliva test.
