Premature Ejaculation: Eight things you should know about it.


If you think you suffer from premature ejaculation, before visiting a physician, have a look if you really suffer from it. If a man reach his climax and ejaculates before his partner, it does not mean that he suffer from premature ejaculation. Women normally take much longer than men to reach the orgasmic climax. It is common for men under a lot of stress or if excited in the moment to ejaculate earlier than usual. Sometimes men can’t hold it out, but wish they could last a bit longer. One of the most famous exercises to cure premature ejaculation is the PC Exercise. It strengthen the pubbocoxygennus muscle (PC muscle), a muscle that surround your prostate gland and anus. This exercise can help prevent prostate cancer, give you a rock hard erection when you need it and help you to hold back the urge to ejaculate. Next time you urinate, try to stop the flow of urine in the middle of the process. You do this by holding the PC muscle clamped tight. Now do the same exercise when not urinating. You just complete one set of PC Exercise. Start with a set of 20 to 30 at a time. Work your way up to a set of 100. Then do at least 300 a day. Some people do them as thy drive or at their desk. It does not matter where and when you do them, as long as you do it every day for the rest of your life. Another short term solution is to squeeze these muscles. This can lengthen the time before you ejaculate.


Also look at your diet to cure or prevent premature ejaculation. The healthy functioning of the penis and its erectile process depend on strong veins and a free blood circulatory system. Try to avoid foods that affect the blood circulatory system to much. These foods are normally high in cholesterol. They are all your fatty meats, cheeses and eggs. If you consume too much of these on a daily basis you might harm your cardio vascular system which goes hand in hand with impotency. To prevent impotency, try to seek alternatives for meat, like been and legumes food groups. Bad eating habits can result in a lack of energy, which by itself can be one of the big erectile problems.


Another problem with premature ejaculation can be medications. But before we look at this, it is important to remember that one should always consult his physician before you change your medical regime. Some anti-hypertension drugs for high blood pressure cause problems with your potency and ejaculation ability. But on the other hand, high blood pressure can also cause these problems with your sexual ability. Also, if you are excessively anxious, depressed or affected by any other mental illness, you can suffer the same problems as with high blood pressure. The same apply for the medications you take for these problems. It seems to be a catch 22 situation. If you have one of these problems it is advisable to be open and frank about your erectile problems when discussing medications with your doctor. Many adjustments can be made to help stop these side effects.


The best way to maintain general health and to avoid ejaculation and erectile problems is to exercise on a daily basis. Any type of exercise is good for you. But if you want to improve your erections or prevent premature ejaculation you should do at least three solid aerobic workouts per week. This will bring the heart rate up and thereby increase the strength of the cardiovascular system. It will also help prevent high blood pressure. All these are excellent conditions for a healthy sex life. Excellent workouts for this include long distance running, soccer, swimming, jump roping, basketball, and bicycling. This is not necessarily a cure for impotence as it is a prevention method.


One other problem with premature ejaculation and impotence is old age. When is a man to old? Depends on how you look at it, the answer can be never. It also depends on how the man looks after himself during his life. This statement means that you can never say only older people should look after them self. The younger you start making healthy habits a lifestyle the more you can benefit from it when you older. One of the reasons older men can suffer from premature ejaculation and impotence is because of a drop in some hormone levels. The first hormone we think off here is testosterone which causes decreased libido and erectile functions. Another hormone that can drop as one gets older is one that is involved in inducing sleep. Insufficient rest can set off other problems like impotency and premature ejaculation. To perform well in bed a man needs a daily good rest. This statement is applicable for the younger generation as well. But very important! Before you decide to do something about your hormone levels, first consult with your doctor.


Another problem that can cause premature ejaculation and impotence can be the abuse of drugs, alcohol, stress, relationship problems, etc. If one of these is contributing to your bad sexual performance, you should get help as soon as possible. When you suffer from premature ejaculation due to problems in your relationship, you should first try to work these issues out with your partner. Most of the time it can be easier than one can think. Remember that your partner could suffer the same or even more from your sexual condition. This makes it easier to ask them for help too. In the long run your relationship will only benefit from this.
