Additionally, a pet sitter needs to be reliable and trustworthy, since he or she is coming to your home. Therefore if you are hiring a pet sitting company, ask whether the company conducts background checks on its pet sitters. In sum, research and then use your commons sense in choosing a pet sitter or a boarding kennel.
