Many women suffer from terrible PMS experiencing all sorts of symptoms from headaches to extreme erratic behavior.

Premenstrual syndrome isn’t a “made up” syndrome, there has been extensive research to prove that PMS is in a fact real and that many women unfortunately suffer severely from it.

Here are some tips to help your PMS:

Take a warm bath – it may seem like an obvious solution but a warm bath will relieve cramping as well as backache. It will also help psychologically relax you and help you feel better… a little pampering can go a long way. Add a few essential oils such as relaxing lavender or chamomile.

Use a hot water bottle – If you’re experiencing severe cramps fill up a hot water bottle, wrap it in a towel and hold in on your tummy. The heat will help reduce the cramping and help you feel better.

Mediate – Although your mood swings during PMS are hormonal you can help calm your mind and reduce the severity of the mood swings. If you know you’re experiencing PMS tell yourself that this is very unlike you and you’ll feel better in a few days. Take a 5 or 10 minute break in a quite place and practice some deep breathing and relaxing.

Treat Yourself – Although, we’re not saying eat tons of chocolate during your PMS (this may make you feel worst) a little treat such as a small bar of chocolate or some luxury ice cream can help reduce your sweet cravings during this period and psychologically help you feel better too.

Take a natural supplement – There are a range of natural supplements out on the market that can greatly help reduce the symptoms of PMS, many of these are safe and very effective in treating PMS.
