The third trimester is the period where in everything starts to become uncomfortable and hard. This is the period where you experience all the hardships of pregnancy. Your body becomes larger and it becomes really hard to lie down and find a comfortable position to sleep. Due to the crowding of your organs from your baby's growth, you will experience frequent heartburns. The weight of your baby also causes backaches and pain in the pelvic. You will also experience leg cramps if you do not have sufficient amounts of calcium in your body. Your baby requires a huge amount of calcium during this period for the hardening of his skeletal system. Take calcium supplements and eat foods that are loaded with calcium to prevent leg cramps.
The third trimester also begins with water retention which becomes worse as you pregnancy progresses. Your feet will grow due to this and they may not be able to fit in your shoes anymore. Drinking lots of water, avoiding salty food, and consuming foods that have high amounts of fiber can help lessen the condition.
One of the things that pregnant women look forward to is when they begin to feel their baby moving. It is amazing and really exciting but once you reach the third trimester, your baby's movements may begin to be uncomfortable and at times, painful. You may also feel emotional in the third trimester. You may feel fat and ugly because of the changes you are going through. You may feel tired of being pregnant and you start to wonder how long will it take before you deliver your baby.
Pregnancy is definitely not easy. It is hard and you have to make a lot of sacrifices. It is not entirely happiness and excitement; there are a lot of changes that you have to go through.
