• Small snacks: Healthy snacks such as fresh fruits, vegetable salads and juices can surely help in healthy living and in losing weight effectively. Replace heavy fat foods with healthy snacks such as fat-free yogurt, fresh juices and nuts.

• Shop smartly: While shopping it is recommended to check and compare the calorie and fat levels and servings for different packed food products. This enables people to shop food products that have lower calorie and fat levels and can control their diet plan accordingly.

• Eat more greens: Incorporate fresh fruits and green vegetables in your daily diet plan. Fresh fruits have vitamin A, B, C and E and contain anti-oxidants to shield human body from the damage caused by free radicals. Berries like acai berry have high concentration levels of antioxidants which help in combating premature aging and skin related problems.

• Sizeable portions of food: It is said that your hunger is proportional to the amount of food on your plate. Always keep sizable portions of healthy food on the serving plate and follow the rule of “Eat to live” and not “Live to eat”.

• Exercise keeps you moving: Sitting in front of the computer all day long does not contribute to a healthy life. It is necessary to keep one self physically active in order to have a healthy body; it is a good way of losing weight.
