The Year Of Magical Thinking opened on Broadway March 29, 2007, at the Booth Theater in New York City and stars the Tony Award Winning actress Vanessa Redgrave in what is being billed as a "One Woman Show." The writing for the play is attributed to Joan Didion and deals with the autobiographical account of the events based on the loss of her husband. She has many credits to her name as well, she has written five novels and contributes to many New York magazines. Ms. Didion and her husband John Gregory Dunne have co-written popular screenplays which have turned into motion pictures starring some of Hollywood's finest including Al Pacino and Robert Redford.
