My iPod and MP3 Player


The iPod was a neat little device introduced in 2001, and Apple has continued to develop the device gining it a slimmer, sleeker exterior and extending its capacity and capabilities. The device is a piece of hardware that anyone, even the most technology challenged facility or student, and use with ease.



We’ve been using the ipods for several years now and we still use the “oldies” too. Some of our applications utilize only the audio functions of the ipod and the retro models are perfect for language and music lessons. Newer models, are used for interdisciplinary applications that link, music, art, literature, even architecture to illustrate and explain common themes. Now, with the video iPod, we are doing math modeling, watching brain directions in psychology, and taking care of the needs of students with hearing impairment through animation.



This portable iPod is designed and marketed by Apple Computer. Primarily, it is used to play music.

Full size iPod media players store media on an internal hard drive, while the smaller iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle music players use flash memory.



Currently, there are several models Apple iPods available, including the iPod, iPods nano, and iPod shuffle.

The iPod is available in both 30GB and 80GB sizes and can play video as well as music. The compact iPod comes in several colors and 2,4,and 8GB sizes. The only Apple iPod with no screen, is the ultra iPod Shuffle, and comes with 1GB size.



Apple iPods come with rechargeable batteries and connect to computers via USB. Apple iPods can be purchased from the Apple store or any retailer online.



Another neat little electronic device is the MP3 Player. This player is a most recent in music revolution . With the MP3 player in hand or pocket, a person a can personalize and carry along thousands of songs wherever they go.



All that stored music and the MP3 player is stored on a device that’s smaller than a deck of cards. The MP3 player comes in several colors, shapes and sizes. Manufactures try to appeal to a wide variety of people.

Look for this little device with other consumer products.
