The climate of Montana is a boundary between the cold east climate and the Pacific climate. The difference between summer and winter temperatures is big enough. The average temperature in Montana is about forty two degrees. The Montana`s winters are characterized as quite cold because of the nearness of Canada and its cold arctic winds. Among them the buffalo, grama and bluestern grass are the most estimated. Montana has a big quantity of mineral resources. The main are copper, coal, natural gas and petroleum. The limestone, phosphates, gypsum and sand are rare in occurrence in comparison with coal and gas. The precious metals such as gold, silver are not so widely spread.
