In what way do the writers demonstrate the educational and individual forces those leas the characters to taking their vengeance? In both "Vendetta" plus "The Schoolteachers Guest", both stories demonstrate that the educational forces did lead to them taking their vengeance, in the most dissimilar ways probable, this being affected by their civilization and communities as both stories were set in dissimilar time scales and different surroundings, vendetta being set in Italy in the 1900's and the schoolteachers guest being set in the 1800's in Agua Santa, South America. Both writers describe these very well in the stories interlinking the way of life and personal forces with the way the two women got their vengeance. "The Schoolteachers Guest" was written by Isabel Allende and was set in Agua Santa, in the south part of America, in the early 1800's. In the schoolteachers guest the chief lead, Inez, was a very wilful human being, strong-minded and a "well respected matron of the centre of population". Her powerful links and family bonding with the community determined her role even more as she was "the town’s just schoolteacher". The author portrayed Inez as this hard going disciplined woman but as well a woman who had a son whom she cared for, this arouses a sentiment of love among the mother and son, the writer explains how her son was "the middle of inclination to spoil him" making him first main concern in her world but then once more disciplining him at the same time.
