Pamela Traver gives to the main character of her book the supernatural skills. One of them is the power of Mary Poppins to escape the boundaries of time. The goddess has a great power to see her appearance in the past and predict the way she would look like in future. As the earth is timeless, Mary Poppins being its goddess has the same eternal quality. The fact that Mary Poppins may control the time is some kind of proof she is actually a real deity. She must be remembering the events since the beginning of the time. For instance in order to tell the story of the Dancing Cow, Mary Poppins paused revising the ancient times, maybe some hundreds years ago. She together with Mrs.Corry were making the world. So we see her memory is unique, but noone may definitely tell about her origin and background. Maybe she is even from the future. Then it explains why she knows the events that would happen in the future. Mary Poppins is easily breaking the laws of nature like the one about traveling in time. It is hardly possible to find any other adult on the planet who would obtain such strength and power. She is indisputably unique. It gives the deity an opportunity to manipulate the creatures and people surrounding her. Children are never mischievous when she is around. At the same time both kids and animals love her as she is very kind to all of them if they deserve such attitude. She protects them and respects them. She influences people being much superior than many adults, not only physically, but intellectually as well.
