You should go to dance party and ask who is the teacher here and just observe how they dance. You will see whether you like the way they dance because usually that's the style they will teach you.

Ask around other students, you will see which name repeats.

Observe the lessons given by that person

Watch if they give any exercises, I think this the most important part of learning Tango,

Ask if they have a website so you can see whether they have any testimonials.

Remember country origin doesn't equal talent

Ask in the studio what do They teach? whoever tell you that teaches everything be careful usually that's the RED LIGHT and you should consider that before choosing this one- I never have meet instructor who would be Great in everything.

First of all before you take any lesson do your homework by SERIES OF EXERCISES which will prepare you body for the lesson and prevent feeling uncomfortably,

Ask lots of questions -questions hook your mind,

Try to learn both parts (follow, lead),

Switch partners as often as possible,

Would be nice if you could take some notes,

Observe others what problem they are having-try to think solution,

Call the teacher and tell him to watch you while you are doing the sequence with your partner,

Don' forget to ask his opinion,

    Repeat the sequence many times,

Get known with other students, that way after the lesson you can review what you learned together,
