AUTOGAS - Instalatii GPL


Autogas is the common name for liquified petroleum gas (LPG) when it is used as a fuel in internal combustion engines in vehicles. The same equipment is also used for similar engines in stationary applications such as generators.
Autogas is widely used as a "green" fuel as it decreases exhaust emissions. In particular, it reduces CO2 emissions by around 20% compared to petrol. It has an octane rating (MON/RON) that is between 90 and 110 and an energy content (higher heating value—HHV) that is between 25.5 megajoules per litre (for pure propane) and 28.7 megajoules per litre (for pure butane) depending upon the actual fuel composition.
In countries where petrol is called petrol rather than gasoline, it is common for autogas to be simply referred to as gas. This can be confusing for people from countries where petrol is called gasoline, as they often use the abbreviation gas to refer to petrol. In the United States, autogas is more commonly known under the name of its primary constituent, propane.

Economic - Atat datorita faptului ca GPL este un combustibil care se obtine la un cost relativ scazut, cat si datorita faptului ca este un carburant de viitor (ecologic) pretul final de vanzare la statiile de alimentare este fara accize si alte taxe suplimentare fiind aproximativ la jumatatea pretului benzinei.
Consumul litric de GPL pentru un motor este cu maxim 10% mai mare decat consumul de benzina, fapt datorat densitatii GPL care este mai mica decat cea a benzinei.
Luand in considerare aspectele prezentate anterior, se realizeaza o economie reala de aproximativ 40-50%.
Datorita acestui fapt, amortizarea investitiei pentru montarea instalatiei GPL se face relativ usor (aproximativ 10.000-15.000 km), numai din diferenta de cost benzina-GPL.
Sigur - Contrar a ceea ce se crede, instalatia de alimentare cu GPL este mult mai sigura decât cea de benzina, deoarece componentele sunt supuse unor severe verificari fiind omologate international.
Rezervorul este realizat din material special tratat chimic pentru a evita fisurile in caz de accident, este dotat cu un grup de supape care împiedica umplerea cu mai mult de 80% din capacitate, permitând astfel gazului o expandare in caz de temperaturi înalte sau accidente. Todata in cazul ruperii in mod accidental a unei conducte de gaz aceasta sesizeaza debitul crescut de gaz si opreste automat alimentarea.Testele au demonstrat ca o masina avand montata o instalatie GPL conform regulamentului R 67 ECE-ONU nu explodeaza!
Ecologic - Pentru ca foloseste un carburant fara sulf, benzen, plumb, sau alte substante cancerigene, GPL-ul se amesteca foarte bine cu aerul realizându-se un amestec carburant mai omogen si o ardere imbunatatita fara depuneri de calamina si hidrocarburi, noxele emise de motor cu carburator încadrandu-se in normativele EURO 2. De altfel marile companii de autoturisme sunt direct implicate in dezvoltarea si producerea de motoare ultra ecologice, una dintre solutiile imediat aplicabile fiind echiparea autovehiculelor cu motoare alimentate cu GPL (Volvo, Opel, Fiat, Renault, Dacia, Daewoo,…etc. sunt echipate optional din fabrica cu sistem AUTO GPL).
Dezavantajele cum ar fi reducerea spatiului din porbagaj, pretul initial al instalatiei, performantele dinamice ale masinii cu cca. 10% mai scazute, sunt pe deplin compensate de avantajele economice, ecologice si de siguranta oferite in exploatare
