The car models feature the turbocharged 2 liter engine version which is known as the Subaru boxer-4. The main thing is that the engine is producing the 248 horsepower at the rate of 6000 rpm. It had been revealed that when these models will be launched in U.S, the engine model will be improved by 2.5 liter which produced a 225 horsepower and also generates the torque of 226 pound-feet. While in UK, the buyers will not be provided the WRX models because of the European emissions laws.
The high performance models from Subaru are still uncovered until the auto show in Tokyo. Also in the field of World Rally Championship which is commonly known as WRC, Subaru is providing a great hand in the motorsports technology. All the car models had been designed keeping in mind the enthusiasm of the serious drivers who are participating in the race. The WRX STI is the new motorsports subsidiary and the high performance models of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.
