There's No Stopping HAWK

Hawk Performance, the leading name in automotive brake friction technology and cutting-edge brake manufacture, intends to improve its philosophy to deliver better braking products. The name has been a prominent one in the field of motorsports and racing. To boost the standing further, the company brake system is upgraded to deliver maximum stopping power without compromising comfort.

The company offers High Performance Street (HPS) compound that delivers greater coefficient friction over stock brake pads. In addition, it provides 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than other replacement pads. Less brake fade means durable brake pad with less brake dust. Features of HPS Ferro-Compound include increased stopping power, high friction/torque hot or cold, gentle on rotors, extended pad life, low dust and virtually noise-free.

Performance Ceramic is designed to lessen brake noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). Hence, a quieter and comfy ride is expected. Also, the formula used in Hawk brakes manufacture has a linear friction profile that allows the ABS brake system to work better. Auto enthusiasts trust Hawk performance brakes because it reduces dust output levels and brake pad wear. Performance Ceramic features include increased stopping power, extended rotor and pad life, stable friction output, extremely quiet and ultra-low dust.

HP Plus, on the other hand, uses a sophisticated Ferro-Carbon material especially designed for sport driving applications. It offers reduced wear rates and higher torque values than other materials. It is an efficient choice for upgrade because it has extremely high coefficient of friction. HP Plus is specially engineered to high performance streetcars. Its significant features include extremely high friction output, fade resistant and efficiency for autocross and club racing events.

Earlier, Hawk Corporation purchased Tex Racing Enterprises, Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium branded drive train components for motorsports and performance automotive markets. "The acquisition of Tex Racing reflects another expansion of our motorsport and automotive performance business," said Ronald E. Weinberg, Hawk Corporation Co-Chairman and Co-CEO. "The acquisition of Tex Racing complements the businesses that form the Hawk Performance Group, headed up by Rob Nelson, which also includes Quarter Master, a manufacturer of premium clutch assemblies for racing cars, and Hawk Brake, which provides high durability brakes for racing and other markets. Under Rob's leadership, the performance group provides us with a platform to broaden our customer base and offer new products in the high-performance automotive markets." The growth goes on and there's no stopping Hawk.
