It has already been widely deployed for maintenance of telecom, CATV, fiber optic test labs, and generic cabling systems (GCS). This optical light source, used in combination with GAO08113 optical power meter, is an ideal solution for fiber optic networks.
The optical light source offers one to four wavelength outputs according to user specific requirements with highly stable output power. This light source provides 650nm visible red light, and also 1310nm and 1550nm dual-wavelength outputs for single-mode fiber measurement or 850nm to 1300nm dual-wavelength outputs for multi-mode fiber measurement. It carries out measurements on 1310/1550nm wavelength signals for both single-mode fiber and multi-mode fiber. Featuring a large LCD screen, sleek design and easy operation, this light source is ideally suited for field work.
