Reasons for Damaged Hair from Hair Coloring

In todays culture perfection is probable and supported with regard to hair tint. Whether the purpose is to defy the signs of maturing or to simply boost the color, hair coloring has become universal.
Most women at this time, or have at some point, colored their hair, but do they know just how destructive is it to use hair coloring products? The basis for permanent hair coloring products are effective is because the PH of the hair is being changed in order to release the follicle and permit the color to go into the cuticle. If the shade of the product is darker then the normal color then pigmentation is being left, whereas if it is a product to lift the color it is usually take away pigmentation. The scope of the damage really depends on the type of coloring being executed and the hair coloring products used.
To better understand the kinds of hair color it is important to know their effect on the hair itself. The smallest amount of damaging type of color is a impermanent color which typically lasts for 4-12 shampoos. This kind of color works by depositing color on the outside of the hair shaft; it does not enter the cuticle. Subsequently is semi-permanent hair color which can last up to 26 shampoos. This style of coloring as a rule includes some ammonia but will weaken back to the usual color someday because it does not mix with the natural tint. Finally is permanent hair coloring which will not be removed without either using special products to remove the dye from the cuticle. If not the person must wait for re-growth of the hair to be free of the color as it cannot rinse out. In this procedure little molecules of color get into the core of the hair and then cling to the natural color which makes them too big to depart the shaft. Despite of which type of color, the process is very disturbing to the hair follicle and the system will most likely have to be recur in order to be maintained.
As discussed, many products involve elements such as developer, ammonia or bleach which are high alkaline materials and can be very drying and makes it hard to go back the hair follicle to its original status. As an option some people prefer to use organic hair care products which are created from natural or plant based components versus the compounds in traditional brands. Many people think that a natural product means no damage will result but this is not real. Natural products may minimize the damage done through the coloring process but it is improbable to ignore modest damage from occurring. Any variation to a hairs natural PH can finalize in dryness and damage. The solution aspect of coloring is to be advised of the product being used and to appropriately condition the hair after coloring with protein based products.
