Powis Parker Fastback Releases The New P21x Foilfast Printer With Updated Hardware and Drivers

At a recent meeting for Powis Parker Fastback dealers, Kevin Parker (one of the founders of Powis Parker) introduced the new P-21x Foilfast printer. The P-21x Foilfast printer is an update to Powis Parker’s existing Foilfast printer which is designed to add stunning foil artwork and titles to your document or photobook covers. The Fastback Foilfast printer works like a standard ink-jet or laser printer and allows users to produce beautiful foil printed covers in less than two minutes per sheet. Here are some of the new features included in the updated P-21x Foilfast Printer.

At first glance, the Powis Parker Fastback Foilfast P-21x printer looks the same as the old Foilfast printer. However, after looking a little bit closer you will notice that the printer now includes a USB port. Many customers and designers have requested USB support for the Fastback Foilfast printer and it is great to see that they have listened and responded.

The new Fastback Foilfast P-21x printer also includes new drivers. These drivers include several important updates that we have been anxiously awaiting. In particular, the new drivers for the Foilfast printer include support for Mac OS X and Windows XP. The drivers should also work with Windows Vista (according to a source within Powis Parker) and new Intel based Mac computers.

Although they may not be apparent, Powis has also made a number of changes to the electronics that control the Fastback Foilfast P-21x. These changes in the electronics are reflective of Powis Parker’s dedication to continually improving the design of their products.
