Another important aspect that has to be kept in mind is—analyzing what consumers buy. Until the company knows what the consumers prefer and want, they will not be able to launch a successful product in the market. Investigating on facts like consumer preference, demand, spending capacity, acceptance of new products etc., will help the company establish a product in the market, which will be demanded by all. The company also has to decide the location, where it intends to sell its products. This decision can be taken after analyzing the market research reports. It can decide to set up a chain store, supermarket, corner shop etc, to sell its products. Internet is also one place where it can offer its product. If the product is offered on the Internet, the company can offer its product globally. Market research broadly includes understanding consumer behavior and then catering to their needs.
