You know, I find it interesting, and I mean REALLY interesting to speak with my leads. First of all you have to understand that when you’re making these contacts you are talking to real people that have real needs and desires but are smart enough to know if you’re taking them for a ride. So while it’s true I am calling them to provide great benefits associated with Coastal Vacations and to help them achieve financial freedom and leisure travel, it is not my primary source of connection with them.

There seems to be a universal commonality shared amongst all the so-called leads I speak with. And from hereon out I will only refer to them as people until the very last word. After speaking with so many people it seems that we all want freedom. Now that is an all-encompassing term and I’ve learned along the years that freedom is actually associated with many other concepts—like attracting a beautiful husband or wife into your life, creating a fruitful venture out of your passions, and sharing more time with family and friends.

Yet if you think about all these concepts, it really circles back to freedom in the form of one very powerful word:

    LOVE

Wouldn’t you LOVE to be with your dream spouse? Wouldn’t you LOVE to work for yourself? And wouldn’t you LOVE to nurture and be nurtured by the people you associate with?

Ultimately that is what I look for when I speak with leads (sorry, I lied about never referring to people as leads but only this once to exemplify my point) to find out what are the things they love to do in life.

I’ve spoken with painters, MBA students, military specialists, sales agents, travel agents, you-name-it…they are all looking to be mobile which enables them to do more—to love more. And that comes with the freedom once you’re able to leave your dead-end job or when you finally wrap it around your head that you don’t have to rely on a boss to live the lifestyle you want.

From a leisure standpoint the freedom to vacation and roam around the planet is just about on everyone’s “to do” list. But as this globe continues to shrink down into a village, more and more people (such as me) need cost-efficient travel to move practically from country-to-country. Speak to the heart of your people with this fundamental understanding of love or freedom, and you’ll find it a lot easier to speak with your leads.
