At Last! - Someone who Talks Sense About Creating Your Own Information Products!
Some weeks ago I decided that I would like to have my own information product to sell online. I have been making a small extra income from the internet for some time now by, in the main, selling other peoples info products or ebooks as an affiliate.
This activity has provided me with enough extra money to pay for a family holiday each year, but like most affiliate marketers, I sometimes felt that I was 'digging someone else's ditch'! In other words, I felt that if I was going to be using my spare time to sell other people's info products and ebooks for a commission, I could just as easily be selling my own ebook and receive 100% of the sale value rather than the usual 40% - 50% I'd been getting by promoting someone else's product.
I'm not a techy type person by any means and so I had no idea whatsoever about how to create an ebook of my own. In fact, this was the most frustrating part about the whole thing. I spent a ton of money on products that promised me the world and did nothing but empty my wallet.
I had absolutely no idea what on earth I was going to write about!
I wanted to find someone out there that would teach me how to do this...sort of look over my shoulder approach. Let me tell you, there isn't anybody out there that will let you do this.
O.K. so I am thinking to myself that this whole ebook thing is for the people who have tons of money that can hire out all this work. Needless to say, I was feeling really down. Here I was with big dreams and desires and I could not find any help on the net about doing this.
I came across a website that was offering just about everything that I would need to start creating my own info product and ebook. Heck it even gave me ideas on what to write about. After reading the whole website, I scrolled to the bottom to find a price and $1,247.00 was staring me in the face. Ouch! This is the best thing around, but no way in H.E.(double hockey sticks) was I about to pay that for one program.
Madness! I was trying to end up making money and there was no way I could afford that sort of price. I carried on searching and eventually came across a site that grabbed my attention straight away. "The 6 Week Course That Is Changing People's Lives!" was the sub headline!
I clicked on it and it took me to heaven (not really, but so to speak)! This is exactly what I have been looking for and it was a step-by-step approach on doing everything from beginning to the end. Reading the site I was just drawn in to his story and it was like he was on the phone listening to my testimony and writing it down on his website. Then I came to my senses and said...this thing will cost me a fortune.
So I went to the bottom quickly just to see how much this amazing little jewel was going to cost me and I was floored. Compared to the other program that I was tempted to buy, this was a lot more affordable...a lot more affordable. This program was going to allow me to create as many info products and ebooks that I wanted.
I bought the program and read lesson one. I followed the lesson to the "t" and when I was done, I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of lesson 2 in my email box. I did this step-by-step process and so it was a lot easier than what I was originally thinking.
I completed the course and I now have my information product in an area that I knew nothing about and it will be launched in just a few days to a tightly guarded niche.
I have had hundreds of blog request from individuals in the same boat that I was in and are eager to find out how to make their own info product and ebook.
