Can You Receive Further Education with Home Schooling

Often students and their parents are concerned with an online education or equivalency format because they have aspirations for post-secondary schooling. This is a legitimate concern as universities and colleges have highly varying qualification requirements. One thing that they all have in common, however, is that they require high school graduation.

Many people who put in the hard work and struggle to complete their GED requirements are disappointed when it comes time, perhaps down the road, when they want to apply for post-secondary programs and courses, and are told that they will have to upgrade before they are able even to apply to the school. Their thought is often, “But I have the GED! I did all that work, I fulfilled the requirement!†Understandably, they are frustrated, yet for many, if not all schools, this is often not enough.

The difference between working with Citizens School and achieving a high school diploma and doing a GED is that instead of getting the equivalent to a high school diploma, you are actually getting the real thing. That way you can rest assured that what you have attained will be an actual high school diploma, and therefore far more likely to be accepted by the university, technical/vocational school, or college of your choice.

If you are considering completing your high school diploma rather than going to school, or if you want to go back to finish something you started in your teens, be sure to make Citizens School your first stop. You will not want to make a choice that may leave doors closed to your future, whatever that may bring. While attaining a GED is an important accomplishment and is definitely worthwhile, it is not the same as a recognized high school diploma. You want to make sure when planning your education, always, to be one step ahead of yourself. Let Citizens School assist you in brightening up your future, and inspiring you to follow whatever path you chose, through our varied selection of courses that are stimulating, exciting, and worthwhile.
