It’s an open secret that speaking in a foreign language without any accent is practically impossible. Even people who have lived among native speakers for many years still preserve while speaking pronunciation manner specific to their mother tongue. The crux of this fact is that in every language there are some sounds which can’t find any counterparts in other languages. Therefore pronunciation of such sounds presents considerable difficulties when learning a foreign language and especially mastering pronunciation skills.

In order to polish the pronunciation of such difficult sounds and make the act of communication with a native speaker smoother and more understandable it is recommended that a foreign language learner should read aloud texts in foreign languages for 20-25 minutes a day. This pronunciation exercise will help you to develop good pronunciation skills and get used to pronunciation peculiarities of the foreign language. So, you should read aloud to polish the pronunciation of difficult sounds.

The only condition when doing reading aloud is to pronounce all words correctly and with right word stress. Speaking Notepad will help you to check up the accuracy of your pronunciation and define your main pronunciation problems. Texts created by Speaking Notepad with its wide range of natural and intelligible voices can act as a pronunciation model for you to aim at.
