Bodyguard Training The Professional Bodyguard Association (PBA) based in County Durham has been training and employing Close Protection Officers since 1985. We are accredited to teach Security Industry Association (SIA) approved close protection courses which you will need in order to work in the United Kingdom in this role. Additionally many employers who hire people for work outside the UK are increasingly anxious that their employees have an SIA approved course behind them. The PBA is committed to provide the highest level of training so that both clients and students get what they want. The Bodyguard Training Course content is scrutinised by our internal assessor to ensure that we stay current and within the licensing requirements. Executive Bodyguard Training Courses A comprehensive training package has been developed consisting of Close Protection skills (armed &un-armed) and procedures, surveillance awareness & medical training – all of which are regarded as essential for the modern close protection officer. Application Form Our course has been designed so that those students with little or no knowledge of the ‘security world’ can be taught and operate to a high level.
