New Brilliant Counting Method Surpasses “Old School” Teaching

Traditional counting for “making change” has just been replaced with a faster and easier mathematical counting method.

Not knowing how to “make change” is an underlying problem in today’s society. In this day and age, it is automatically assumed that everyone knows how to make change and that assumption is inaccurate. A high percentage of people who work with money exchange on a daily basis have trouble making change without the use of a register. However, there are also a high percentage of consumers that are unaware of how much change they are to receive back from the cashier. Learning how to "Make Change" is taught in early elementary school years but is rarely used these days. Traditional counting has been forgotten due to the use of registers and calculators. Just like a muscle, if we do not use it, we loose it and that is exactly what has happened. Not knowing how to make change can turn into an embarrassing situation in a heartbeat.

A familiar scenario might have taken place in a grocery store where the cashier entered the wrong key and all of a sudden, the cashier is left with a bewildered look on their face, as they have no idea how much change to give the customer. Worse yet, the customer has no idea how much change they are to receive. Every person that works or has worked with money exchange knows that it is very important to be able to know how to make change on their own if ever they are in a situation such as that. When working with money exchange, it should be required to have the knowledge of how to make change before even being hired to avoid embarrassment.

Registers and calculators have added convenience to our lives, but the knowledge of making change is still very much needed. The traditional teaching for making change may be difficult for many people but that is all about to take a turn for the better. A new and improved method is what our society needs that teaches a short-cut that will help them to quickly achieve the correct change and then count back the change to the customer fast and accurately. Money exchange is made on a daily basis all over the world and it is imperative that our society knows their change. Making change the traditional way has just been replaced with a new and improved method that will truly become an answered prayer for many.
