Of course, just as every mother, and perhaps many dads, already do, rocking is one of the most important ways to bond with your baby. Whether you exclusively pump, breastfeed, or feed your baby formula, rocking is a wonderful way to bond with your sweet, little one.

That special time of day, perhaps early morning, early evening or any time of day, can be an incredible time to do things like:

spend quietly rocking and talking with your baby,

    • read a book,
    • just look into one another’s eyes, or
    • listen to wonderful soft classical music (Baby Einstein has some of the best musical CD’s.

Whatever you choose to do with your baby, make sure to take time out of your crazy, busy life just to sit and relax and enjoy a few special bonding moments with your baby. It will be treasured moments that they will remember forever.
