Water, water everywhere, but not a single drop of pure water to drink! This could be the scene after 25 years. Use and misuse of water is happening everywhere. The world’s huge population of six billion people is using about 54% of all accessible fresh water contained in rivers, lakes and underground aquifers. By 2025, the share of human beings will be around 70%. These estimates are alarming. We will have less water for other species. On the other hand there are cases where we can find people misusing water in agriculture and most of the time while showering, cooking, cleaning utensils, floors, cars or while watering plants. Overuse of water has created scarcity of water in many places. In many countries women are facing big problems in collecting water for drinking and other household chores.

Despite knowing the importance of water to our health and overall well-being, we are increasingly becoming disrespectful to water. We abuse it. We waste it. We pollute it forgetting the fact that water is so vital to our survival. Scarcity and misuse has created a serious problem for mankind. Water-related diseases are increasing day by day. It’s a human tragedy. Water-borne diseases are killing more than 5 million people each year – 10 times the amount killed in war. About 2-3 billion people suffer from diseases linked to dirty water. Some 60 percent of all infant mortality worldwide is linked to infectious and parasitic diseases, most of them are water-related. The water-borne diseases that affect human beings are cholera, typhoid, shigella, polio, meningitis, hepatitis A & E and diarrhoea among others. Every day, at least 6,000 deaths mostly among children under five are happening due to diarrhea disease. These figures are frightening and it stresses the need for a quality water filter. Water filters provide a quality solution to all drinking problems and it gives you water at affordable prices. It is much cheaper than the bottled water. It also helps us to protect environment as plastic bottles are threat to environment. There are many companies who have water filters in the market. In U.S.A., Aquasana is the leading name in water filters. It has water filters of various shapes and sizes in the market. It comes with a lifetime warranty. The after sales service of aquasana is quite good.

Water filters have changed the way of living. It has brought smile back on the faces of millions of people. Many people are leading healthy life once again. Time has come for other people to switch to a better quality water filter.
