If you don’t like the idea of water balloons you can set up a contest between some of the kids to see who can pop as many balloons with their bums as possible within say the frame of a couple of minutes. You don’t want to leave out any one so be sure that each child gets some type of prize for trying. To avoid tears and hurt feelings, I would suggest that you provide one larger prize for the winner, and give out cheap "runner-up" prizes to all the other children.
