About the author
My name is Claude Leonard and I was born in Montreal in 1954. By the age of 6, I was already seeing visions but my parents told me they were imaginary friends (sound familiar?). As life went on I started to lose these imaginary friends. At about age 16, I started doing hypnosis on friends. By the age of 17, one evening a friend showed me things that would change my life forever. He was able to bring people into a deep meditative state, and from there he brought all of us to one light. I could see the light and I was able to get close but unable to reach it. That evening I knew my girl friend would leave me because I was starting to change. I lived with my parents in Montreal until the age of 19 which is when I joined the military. Later on I got married and had 4 children. Sadly, one of them passed away at the age of 210 days, from a rare genetic problem. I was stationed in Winnipeg for most of my career, although I was posted at various locations in Canada, for brief periods of time. I retired from the military after 20 years service and stayed in Winnipeg, where I have been living since 1977. It was during the time that all countries were reducing their armed forces. Life went on until the day my wife and I separated and later, got a divorce.
It is a difficult thing to do, but sometimes it is necessary for one to keep growing spiritually. When you argue about everything everyday, maybe it is the universe trying to tell you something. I am not saying that every time someone feels some issue with their partner that they have to separate. Matter of fact sometime it may be better to separate for a few days, then get back and talk about what you have done, to bring peace in your heart. In 1999 I got married to a beautiful person. She is now the centre of my life. Yes, we have gone through some rough times, but there have been a lot more good times. On our 5th anniversary we went back to the paradise where we were married and renewed our vows to declare our ongoing love and devotion. Since February 2004, my spiritual path has increased many fold. My wife continues to support me spiritually.
I am a member of the Canadian Reiki Association, The World Reiki Association, registered with The International Center for Reiki Training and with the Lightarian Institute for Global Human Transformation, as well as a member of the International BodyTalk Association. I hold an Emotional Freedom Techniques certificate of completion, and am an ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER® certified by Doreen Virtue, PhD, and I help people with their physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
