Trash the Status Quo & Break The Mold Society Handed You!

With personal development such a huge industry, it goes without saying most people have unresolved issues that took root back in child hood. Once a person grows up and gets out on their own, the tendency to try and carve out a brand new path and shatter the old mold that parents and society places on us, seems at times to be a road that most people find difficult to travel on.

Of course it’s always easier to just live up to the status quo. But why do most people limit themselves to the expectations of those around them when life is overflowing with unlimited wealth and abundance? One limitation for many people these days seems to be financial. I read somewhere in Best Selling Author T. Harv Eker’s book, “Secrets of the Million Dollar Mind”, that most people’s earnings are within 20 percent of the people closest to them, which would be family and friends.

If you want to get ahead financially in life, then the first step should be obvious. Don’t take advice from your family and friends, unless of course they are wealthy and this wealth was not inherited. Now this is not to say that they are not well meaning and looking out for your best interest. Family and friends often times tend to be the most critical when they find that you're venturing out on a self improvement journey, especially when your goal is to be Financially Free.

It seems like every naysayer immediately comes out of the woodworks when you start announcing your lofty dreams. I don’t know if it’s jealousy or fear of the unknown that causes one to doubt another’s ambitions. It’s as if an overwhelming amount of people, by choice, are at some level of piece with taking the path of least resistance. I don’t believe we are put here on earth to quietly tip toe through life without giving serious effort to grow personally and financially, and have a dramatic impact not only on our lives, but the lives of generations to come. We live in a world of absolute abundance that is there for anyone with a desire for a better life, to plug into and capture what’s rightfully theirs.

People in general are fearful of risk. That’s why most of the wealth in this world is controlled by about 5 percent of the population. It does take a little faith to venture out there in the land of the unknown. However, the potential reward far exceeds the risk for those that take action.

Getting a job is really simple, but where will that get you after 40 years of your time? Probably a small retirement that most people these days outlive, and hey, how about a 40 dollar Timex as a thank you token from your employer for a job well done. You can just about forget about Social Security being there for you, your children, and grandchildren. I know it doesn’t look all that exciting does it? There really is a better way, and more and more people are finding true prosperity in a world that is full of abundance.
