When looking for a Home Based Business Opportunity ( based
business home opportunity ) it is often difficult not to get all
caught up in the hype, flashy presentations, and promises that
will never be kept. So what should you look for in a company
that will be the bases for your financial future?
First the company's product line should be able to serve the
masses by covering several categories and the products should be
unique enough that they are patented. If the based business home
opportunity you are looking at is a one product driven company
then the marketing appeal to the masses is greatly restricted.
For example if the company only has nutritional products then
you are only going to be able to market to those people who have
an interest in nutritional products. If they only have beauty
products then you will only be able to market to those people
who are interested in beauty products. But if the company has
both nutritional products, and beauty products then you have
greatly increased the numbers that you can market to.
Second the products of the company must be products people would
use whether or not there was an opportunity connected with them.
This cannot be emphasized enough in your based business home
opportunity and is one of the primary reasons why so many people
fail at mlm and network marketing. If people are only
interested in the products because of the opportunity, they will
leave and stop using the product if (when) the opportunity does
not produce the cash flow they expect in a short period of time.
That is why you will often hear experienced network marketers
complaining about people joining in their opportunity but
disappearing after just a few months.
On the other hand if a company offers products that appeal to
the masses and people use them even without an opportunity
attached, you have a company with products that could be around
not just for 2, 3, 5 or even 10 years, but for decades, 20, 30,
40 even over 50 years. In looking at a based business home
opportunity ask yourself, would you use these products even if
they didn't have an opportunity attached? If the answer is no
then don't even consider the business opportunity. You will
only be disappointed.
Third, the products should be unique enough that they cannot be
purchased by going down to the local store. If you have to
compete against Wal-mart your based business home opportunity
will be out of business over night.
