There are 4 things that every successful network marketing system should do for you. It really shocks me to see that the vast majority of network marketers either have no system, or have a system that only partially works. A good system will make you money, but a bad system will drain you dry. Which one do you have?
4 Things Your System MUST Do For You
1) Create Prospects – That’s right. Your system should create interested people for you to talk to. You don’t see the guy at McDonald’s making up a names list and calling his family. He just sits behind the counter, takes your order, and asks you if you would like an apple pie with that. And I admit, I will say ‘yes’ every once in a while. Your system should bring you hungry people who want what you have.
2) Sift and Sort Your Prospects - Your system should reduce the time you spend, by eliminating people you don’t want to work with. That means that not everyone is your ideal prospect. Being effective means you can’t spend your time with people who don’t have the time, money, or interest.
3) Presell your Prospect – Your system should be educating your prospect for you. If you have valuable information that someone is hungry for, then your system can offer them something they truly want. It does them a service and it presells your prospect.
4) Generate an Immediate Up Front Profit – Yes, you should actually make money the first month you are in business. I learned from author Ann Sieg that your system should make money while you are building up your residual income. This is the retail side of the business. It can be automated, and done in a way that provides a lot of value to your prospect.
Yes, you just heard me right. Your ideal prospect is a person who is hungry for what you have, willing to educate themselves, presold on your business, and already a customer. You don’t need a lot of motivation to do your business, when you have people who are coming to you, asking for what you have to offer, and paying you to get informed about how to do it.
When you have a system like this, then what you’re really doing is selling your business on the back end of your process, and that’s a whole lot more fun.
