Is a bidet better?

For much of the post-industrialized world the bidet is the toilet of choice, however, it is rather uncommon in the United States.
We should know what exactly a bidet is before we all go out and purchase one.
The bidet is, believe it or not, the French word for pony. Bider in old French, means to trot. In the same way as one rides a pony, so it was thought that one rode a bidet. It is, in fact, the most hygienic way of using a toilet, not that riding a toilet sounds especially appealing.
The bidet's creator continues to be not absolutely proven. The earliest written reference was in 1710 when it was used in the bedroom. By the 20th century it had shifted to the bathroom with the arrival of important plumbing improvements.
The electronic bidet was built in 1960 and had an attachment which connects the traditional bidet to the existing toilet arrangements. Nowadays, it is possible to choose between either a separate toilet and bidet or the two combined.
So, what exactly does it do? Well, to put it quite simply, as it is turned on, it sends out a soothing stream of water to clean your bottom. You then have the choice between using toilet paper as well, but that is dependent on your preference.
It is more hygienic than wiping with toilet paper alone. Yes, studies have proven it.
Japan and South Korea went a step further in 1980 by bring in paperless toilets. These have a combination toilet and bidet, and the bidet also dries the user after washing. In the middle of the night you will never again run out of toilet paper.
You may even improve this combination by adding a toilet seat warmer, for those who live in colder climates.
These combination bidets have been very popular, especially in hotels. They are now becoming more popular as they are being sold to domestic users and a number of our prime institutions and businesses throughout the United States. You may, therefore, purchase them for your home if this interests you.|If this interests you, it is possible to purchase them for the home.
The cost of a bidet unit in the United States is in excess of what you pay around the world where they are commonplace. In the Middle East, where you could pick up a unit for USD$20, they are the cheapest. Nonetheless, as their popularity increases, their cost will come down.
Bidet attachments which could be fitted to conventional toilets are now being offered for purchase in stores throughout the United States. They can include remote controls, attached to the toilet seat, especially for use by the elderly to activate the water jets and air dryer.
Depending upon requirements, the costs of these vary significantly. You may select from a variety of possibilities. There are a variety of possibilities from which it is possible for you to select. There are a wide range of designs, some luxurious, others less exotic. There are heated up seats, pulsating streams, adjustable heat streams and built-in dryers.
So, it is possible to purchase an ordinary bidet to sit in your bathroom separately beside your toilet, or it is possible to purchase a seat or attachment to be used with your existing toilet. And it is possible to select from a range of extras.
Then, to cap it all off, it is possible to invite your neighbours in to have a try of your new toilet!
