Guard against vandalism Use Anti-climbing security systems

Modernization has given our society a high standard of living with an increase in amenities and luxuries. But this mobilization has brought an annoying threat to the security system.

Earlier people used to use razor/barb wiring or broken glasses on high walls and gates for fencing purposes. This often formed mantrap or piercing spikes causing dangerous hazard to human life and the reparation were sometimes against the civil law. Thus, such systems have a negative impact on the safety measures taken. It is important to design a good quality fencing which will not only protect but will also be pro-life.

Anti-climb guards provide good quality effective fencing which is difficult to climb but may not be hazardous to life. There are various anti-climb devices available in the market today like -

• Anti-climb paint

• Anti-scaling security

• Rotary devices

Implementing safety devices in the form of anti-climb system is not against any law but needs to be carefully executed. Important institutions where inoffensive appearance is important, installation of anti-climb systems providing all-round perimeter security service becomes mandatory.

Anti-climb paint is applied on parapets, pipes, window sills and walls making it virtually impossible to climb. These paints are thick and non-drying making it slippery. They also leave mark on the intruder’s hands and clothing.

Anti-climb devices are usually manufactured from high tensile alloy which is strong, durable and corrosion resistant. Corrosion resistant makes it withstand the weather hazards and prevents it from being vulnerable to pollution. Further, a non-corrosive material stays bright and impressive for longer. A rotary anti-climbing device resembles a spike and can be effectively used on high walls and tall gates.

Anti-climb security systems are important measures taken to prevent vandalism and theft but should be sensitively used. It is recommended that usage of any anti-climbing device should be clearly identified with warning signs.
