If you have a machine for cleaning carpets, try combining dishwashing liquid and vinegar. Take a cap full of each and mix in with 1 gallon of water. If you don’t have a carpet cleaner, you might want to try using a spritzer bottle and spray it directly onto the stain.
To cleanse ink from rugs
If you get ink on your carpet, you want to attempt to soak it up while being careful not to spread it. Next, throw together some lemon juice and cream of tartar as a means of removing the stain. Rub the mixture in carefully, being careful not allow the ink to bleed into a larger stain. Once the ink has come loose, use a vacuum cleaner to take the mix away from your carpet.

In order to clean soot or carbon stains from your carpets, just pour salt onto the stain and allow to sit for one hour before vacuuming.
