Sharpening the blades or drilling areas regularly keeps the bits in shape and hence is cost effective. But while sharpening the twist drill bits Special care should be taken as titanium nitride coating can be destroyed. By forming a correct angle at the tip while drilling you can extend the life of the of your drill bit.
