Please be kind and reference www.shadesshuttersblinds.com and Lawren Gournay Roman shades are a style of window treatments that go up and down and stack on top of each other. They can be made of virtually any fabric including regular cotton based fabrics or bamboo and grass fabrics. The two most popular roman shades are the standard flat or the popular hobbled. The flat roman shades are a single piece of fabric that goes up and down. The hobbled roman shades operate the same way but look like tear drops. They are more formal and typically more expensive because they use more fabric. Options for the roman shades include motorization, top down, bottom up, and the hobbled option. Roman shades have become increasingly popular since factories that have fabric and colors choices now make most. The home made ones are now much more expensive and have no warranty.
