         You are in your new home, or you just moved ,it's time to be prepared for all cases.So smartly you decide to insure your home and belongings. You may feel overwhelmed by the prospect of listing everything that needs coverage. Your home insurance provider will most likely ask that you list everything of value in your home. Some providers request receipts and others need photographs. This process could take anywhere from few days to a few hours depending on what you own. So let see what you will fill in the list.? Start from your living room and check all your spaces. What are your most precious belongings? What will be the most expensive or difficult to recover? Be sure you note when you bought it and how much you paid for it, if you have the invoice or receipt it will be fantastic.What i recommend is to have a folder with all receipt and invoices of your belongings.. An example of the items you might list for your living room might be love seats, couches, vases, chairs, silver ware, handmade carpet and paintings ; telephone, answering machine; curtains and window treatments; coffee table, coin collections, stamp collections, antique furniture desk, hutch, entertainment centre, old - books, miniatures of high value, book shelves, knick knacks, lamps, wall hangings, clocks, mirrors, prints; Your DVD ,television, VCR, stereo equipment, speakers; CD's records, DVDs, VHS tapes, cassettes; video camera, camera, musical instruments, music, , first edition collections; portable air conditioner, fan, heater; and fireplace equipment. Of course you will add any PC equipment, printer, notebook and the auxiliary equipment of your network if you have. Your list must be as detailed as possible. Don't forget to include things that are not visible at first glance like the contents of your safe, ,valuable watches furs, jewelry, high end clothes and shoes. . Appliances like sewing machine and expensive items that you use exclusively for work may or may not be covered by your home insurance provider. If you are unsure about including anything, ask your agent.
