<div align=justify>People suffer everyday from many illnesses. Some are temporary and a few Anti-Biotics will the care of it. Some are not as fortunate and suffer from an Illness that will eventually claim their life. There is another category that is widely overlooked and many suffer, it is a moral dilemma behind it and I want you to think about this and email me with your answer as to how you would handle it. Some suffer from Chronic Illness that do not kill, instead they let you live. Some are easy and many are agonizing If you had an Illness that was Chronic, no cure, no real treatment and what treatments that are available is a daily fight with doctors and even they are times fail. It is called Meneries Disease. It affects one or both ears (the inner ear). You have 2 nerves that run through your brain in your inner ear system. These nerves control the majority of your body. They control your balance, hearing and many other functions. To get a better idea medically what the medical picture looks like and what it affects go to Google and put in Meneries Disease. Back to the personal view, it causes relentless dizziness and often Vertigo (an uncontrollable feeling of spinning that makes you feel like you are dying, it can last for hours to days at the time, often it does not stop until medication is given and this where the war with many Doctors come in). You are unable to eat as if you try (which your appetite is pretty much gone at this point anyway) you must likely will lose your food. OTC (over the Counter) Meclizine is of no help. Doctors will try and tell you it is getting better when they are too stupid to realize we have Meneries not Mentally Challenged and any Medical Documentation even from John Hopkins will tell you it is a Progressive illness. Some get periods of remission but more do not than do. Some are bi-lateral (in Both ears) and they are in a real hell. It is not an easy illness to deal with and many have drastic things to get relief, even permanent things. It is a sad and lonely illness and o few have it that our American Government and the World will do nothing in terms of research to help those who have it. I would not wish it on my worst enemy but feel that all Doctors that have been mean, uncaring and people that have to seal with these patients that are family members and become frustrated and become angry with them should have to wear it at its worst point for a week to see what we go through. Yes I am a Meneries sufferer too. It is hard, it is depressing, your whole life changes and the kicker is you are allowed to LIVE with it! So you tell me, which would you rather have, and illness with an end in sight or this one or another that is just as agonizing? I try to keep an upper chin and I do not give up on trying to become successful, maybe if I were to become successful and rich I could pay doctors and scientist to do something about it. Maybe it would not help me in my lifetime but it would help those in the future and that alone would mean the world to me. I am not off my rocker and I am not seeking answers to and end to my problem. I have it; I have 2 kids and would not hurt them intentionally. I want to live and finally have found Doctors that are supportive and help me…there are as with anything still bad days, but I deal with them just like everyone else does as that my friend we all have sometimes. This Article was not meant to bring anyone down, hopefully to open eyes in the medical world. I will continue to fight for us and will continue make people aware. I hope to be able to some Public Speaking at some point…I need supporters though and I need funds to get the Laurie Meneries Project off the ground! It will not be free as all proceeds will go to the Project so I can go and speak to groups, talk with people with this horrid disease and hopefully offer hope to them and their families. Speaking and Copywriting mean a lot to me. I also enjoy Coaching, Consulting and just helping people in general. I have a Big heart and wish I could fix us all, but I can’t. I am hoping by becoming a Public Speaker I can set some fires up under some rears and get things moving for us. This is not so much about me as it is others, yes my dreams got wrecked but I can still do things on this PC, as long as I can enjoy some things in life I have purpose and there is no better purpose than helping others!
