<h1>How slow does it go?</h1> <p align=right>by Lisa R Nowlin</p> <div align=justify>I bought my computer a couple of years ago from a friend at a really good price. Little did I know that it was already loaded with "stuff". Even with a high speed internet connection, it was not connecting at high speed. I researched out a few good tools to help clean it up. After having the computer for a little while, it started running slow again. I found out that some of the websites that were being visited by my fiance at the time were not good for the computer at all. Most of which were adult sites. It kept getting slower and slower by the day. It got to the point where it was starting to shut down on its own. I tried adding more memory, but that did not work. I wanted to upgrade the speakers and was able to do so, only after taking it to a professional and having the whole system overhauled. Before going through the overhaul process she showed me a few spots on the computer where these sites had taken over. It was unbelievable. It cost me more than what I had originally spent on the computer but was less expensive than having to buy a new one. When I got the computer back home I researched some tools that will help you and your problems. Even though my fiance on occassion still visits "those sites", the tools that you will find on my blog page will help you to keep your computer maintained in a quick manner.
