<div align=justify>Cultural festivals take place year-round in Deer Valley and the surrounding area. If you schedule your vacations well you will be able to go to one of these magnificent annual events. If you enjoy art, music, film, food, or fun; you will definitely want to include attending a festival in your vacation plans. For the summer visitors to Deer Valley, the Park City Arts Festival is typically held the first weekend of August. It showcases the artwork of more than 200 artists. There's usually a variety of art on display and for sale including painting, glass, wood work, and photography. Whether you are browsing or wanting to buy, there's a great selection to look at. This festival also includes fabulous food, live entertainment, and kid-friendly activities. Be prepared for a crowd. Park City's Main Street is shut down to traffic but shuttles are available to take you to the event. If you come in January, watch out for the Hollywood actors and actresses that decend upon this mountain town as the annual Sundance Film Festival begins. This 10-day event attracts the movie stars, although it is open to the public as well. Film screenings are offered at reasonable costs. If you'd like to see what's new in independent and international film making including short films, documentaries, and feature-length films; this is an occasion you shouldn't miss. A complementary event is the Park City Film Music Festival which is in its fourth year and also takes place in January. Further music festivals include the Park City International Music Festival. This event is held once a year in July and is in its 23rd year. It is designed for the connoisseur of classical music and features classical soloists from around the country performing together. This is a chance to see world-class musicians performing in an beautiful, mountain setting. For visitors who can't get enough of jazz, Deer Valley Resort hosts the annual Park City Jazz Festival in August. The splendor of the outside amphitheater added to the terrific music makes for an unforgettable event. Whether or not your vacation coincides with a festival; the area is certain to provide a cultural event that's perfect for you. Concerts, good food, and artistic expression is found in abundance in this delightful mountain town. Take a look at the local newspapers as soon as you get there to find out what's available to treat your palate or your artistic sensitivities. </div>
