Vanessa Redgrave is not new to theater and has won many awards in London for her work on stage and the attention from critics as well who always appreciate her theatrical work. Ms. Redgrave is no stranger to Broadway either, with such productions as The Lady from the Sea and Long Days Journey Into Night which she won a Tony Award for an amazing performance. Such an achievement is truly outstanding, but on top of such great work she also has an Oscar for her work on the silver screen in "Julia." The writing for the play is attributed to Joan Didion and deals with the autobiographical account of the events based on the loss of her husband. She has many credits to her name as well, she has written five novels and contributes to many New York magazines. Ms. Didion and her husband John Gregory Dunne have co-written popular screenplays which have turned into motion pictures starring some of Hollywood's finest including Al Pacino and Robert Redford. The Year Of Magical Thinking won her the 2005 National Book Award. The Year Of Magical Thinking Tickets The show is set for a limited engagement ending June 30, 2007, and tickets have become popular for the show.
